These days, the Warped Tour is defined more by its audience -- suburban teens and twentysomethings -- than by any overarching musical strain. That's not to say the show has spurned its roots: Top-billed bands such as Alkaline Trio, Sum 41 and Pennywise -- Warped veterans all -- still reflect the pop - and skate-punk spirit that marked the tour's 1995 launch. But with acts such as Breathe Carolina and homecoming hero Mike Posner, you'll hear as many synths and dance grooves as you will traditional three-chord crunch.
