INFORMATION WE COLLECT

You provide personal information to buzzd through the Website or from your mobile device through the Service at registration and through your use of the Service Cookies are placed on buzzd users computers/mobile devices to keep track of user activity, to store preferences and to personalize the user experience on the buzzd Website and Service; log files are also used to keep track of overall Website information and to improve the Website and Service buzzd users represent to buzzd that they are at least 13 years of age; buzzd mobile service is aimed at a general audience at least 13 years of age; buzzd does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age

BUZZD PRIVACY POLICY

We value your privacy. buzzd provides this Privacy Policy to explain how buzzd, Inc. treats information you provide to us via buzzd Mobile (throughout this Privacy Policy the term "buzzd Mobile" refers to both the buzzd.com network of websites as well as the mobile services that we offer on those sites). Please be sure to read this Privacy Policy carefully before accessing, registering for, or using buzzd Mobile. buzzd, Inc. is referred to as "buzzd", "we" or "us".

Information We Collect

To use some features of buzzd Mobile, you must create an account or profile which requires you to provide us with some personal information. The personal information that you provide us may be given through the buzzd Mobile website or though messages you send to us from your mobile phone. In all cases, your personal information will be covered by this Privacy Policy. Once you sign up with buzzd Mobile we keep track of how you use buzzd Mobile, including your use of various elements of buzzd Mobile and communications with us. This information is an important tool we use in evaluating and improving buzzd Mobile to make it more fun and useful for our users.

We may collect personal information in connection with contests, sweepstakes, surveys or other activities through buzzd Mobile which require users to provide some personal information in order to participate. Participation in these activities is voluntary so you can choose whether or not to give us this information. Certain features of buzzd Mobile may require you to provide specific information in order to use that feature. For example, we may offer you the ability to sign up to receive newsletters or other alerts to be sent to your email address or mobile phone and would ask for that contact information to deliver you the service you requested. We offer our users the ability to post their own information or content for other users to see via buzzd Mobile and to send messages to other buzzd Mobile users. By posting or sending any personal information on or through buzzd Mobile, you understand and agree that the personal information may be publicly viewable by buzzd Mobile users and that we may use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that the personal information about other buzzd users that may be viewable by you on buzzd Mobile may not be accurate and should not be relied upon.

Cookies, Web Beacons and Log files

We use cookies to store preferences you select while using buzzd Mobile. These cookies are pieces of information sent by our website to your browser or mobile phone and are stored on your computer's hard drive or mobile phone. For example, by providing a cookie on your hard drive, it is possible for you to return to our website with the same settings you had on a previous visit and if you choose, to store your e-mail address (so you don't have to type it in every time you log in). We use cookies to personalize your experience on buzzd Mobile, to understand how you use buzzd Mobile and to tailor content and offers to you when you visit buzzd Mobile. We may also use cookies to determine how you were referred to buzzd Mobile. While we do not require cookies in order to use buzzd Mobile, most users find it very difficult and inconvenient to use buzzd Mobile with cookies turned off. We may associate the information we store in cookies to personally identifiable information collected through your use of buzzd Mobile. . buzzd Mobile may contain electronic images known as Web beacons (or single-pixel gifs) that may be used to assist in accessing cookies and allow us to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. We may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.

We also use log files to keep track of overall website information and to improve our website. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), mobile phone carrier, handset model, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We use this information to analyze trends, administer buzzd Mobile, track how users use buzzd Mobile, and gather broad demographic information.

buzzd Mobile for 13 and Older

buzzd Mobile is not directed to children under the age of 13. You must be at least 13 years of age to sign up for or use buzzd Mobile and each user who signs up or uses buzzd Mobile represents to buzzd that he/she is at least 13 years of age. buzzd Mobile is available to people at least 13 years of age, but if you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you agree that you have received parental permission to provide personal information to buzzd. We do not knowingly collect personal information of anyone under 13.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal and other information we collect (i) to provide you with the features, functionalities of buzzd Mobile you elect to use; (ii) to notify you about new features and services on buzzd Mobile or other products and services that we think you will find interesting; and (iii) for analytical purposes to help us to improve buzzd Mobile and for our business generally.

Information We Collect From You

When you sign up for buzzd Mobile, you establish a password-protected account. During the account creation process and/or as part of your use of buzzd Mobile, we may request certain contact and other information (such as your name, a valid email address and your mobile phone number). We use this information to provide you with buzzd Mobile and to contact you about the items in which you have expressed interest.

When you create an account on buzzd Mobile, we keep track of your interactions with us, including but not limited to your site activity and correspondence. We do this to provide you with better service, for administrative functions, to improve your customer experience and for internal research and reporting purposes.

Sharing Information With Third Parties

buzzd does not sell, rent or share your personal information with non-affiliated third parties without your prior consent. We do however, share personal information with third party contractors who assist us in providing buzzd Mobile to you. The third party contractors agree to use the information only to perform the service for us. In addition, when we offer a cobranded version of buzzd Mobile, you will receive notice that your personal data will be shared with the cobranded partner under the partner’s privacy policy. Certain special programs may be offered through buzzd Mobile on behalf of an advertiser or sponsor, and in such event we will notify you that if you elect to participate in that offering your personal data will be shared with the advertiser/sponsor.

Ads that appear on buzzd Mobile may be delivered by various advertising partners that may change from time to time. Information about users' visits to buzzd Mobile, such as the number of times they have viewed an ad (but not user name, address, or other personally identifiable information), may be used to serve ads to buzzd Mobile users. We may also disclose personal information if we have a good faith belief that the law requires it (such as in connection with a subpoena, court order etc.), to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, of buzzd or third parties, or if we believe that you have violated this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Service, or if we believe such disclosure will prevent a crime from occurring. We may also transfer personal information to a successor to buzzd or buzzd Mobile in connection with a merger, consolidation, asset sale or other corporate change.

Links to Third Party Sites

We may provide links from buzzd Mobile to other web sites that are not owned or managed by buzzd. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any of the linked third party web sites. The third party operator of the web site (and not us) is responsible for the information collection, use and disclosure practices of those third party web sites.

Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

California Privacy Rights

buzzd Mobile users who are residents of California may request certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of personal information to third parties for purposes of their direct marketing. Your Acceptance of this Policy

By using buzzd Mobile Service, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the buzzd Terms of Service. Any dispute as to this Privacy Policy shall be governed by New York law and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, NY.
