Deepen Shah
CTO / Co-Founder
Deepen Shah is our resident technology scientist. He spent his early days within the hacking and computer security community, gaining experience with many development languages and open source architectures. While a college student at New York University, Deepen built an application that text messaged him when a class became available during course registration to get into the classes he really wanted to take. Following this feat, he became interested in expanding this concept of alerts and his first successful venture, eZtext became a reality.
Acquired by ipsh! in 2003, eZtext became one of the first ever mobile self-service applications that allowed small to medium sized businesses to send out text message alerts containing product sales, patient reminders, dj / club promotions, and more. With the backing of a major marketing agency, eztxtmsg grew from a few hundred businesses to thousands in a matter of months. At eZtext, Deepen managed technology teams over-seas and pushed agile Web 2.0 development with platforms such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, and Django.
Having recently graduated from the Stern School of Business at NYU in Information Systems and Finance, he looks towards the future in combining his experience in mobile, business, and technology to create the first truly sticky social platform on the mobile phone.
Deepen's other talents include beatboxing, playing the tenor sax, and chugging Red Bull.

Tim Fielding
VP Strategic Marketing & Business Development
Tim is our ideas guy who cant resist a good deal or a finely crafted sentence. He has been involved in creative ventures mixing social media with sensory experience since hijacking his college disco back in the day. He turned his passion into a profession by founding Journeys by DJ, the seminal dance music label that rocked the block in the 90s. While continuing to spin under the guise of Journeyman, he pursued a daytime career in MTV's mobile content division, before bouncing to Buzzd to run business development. He plays a mean game of table football, is an authority on the watering holes of north Brooklyn, and has a stake in Londons awesome club The End. But dont try using his name at the door there, he still hasnt paid his bar bill.

Polly Lieberman
VP Advertising Sales
Polly started her career in digital media when Double Click was part of Poppy Tyson, Alta Vista was everyone's default search engine, AOL "get online now" CDs came with every magazine, and consumers were hoping to upgrade to a 56k modem. She remembers when the term dot-com became popular, watched a generation of slackers mourn the popping of a bubble they forgot to invest in, and yet she prevailed.
She has poured so much energy into building digital properties and evangelizing revolutionary advertising programs, that a popular game in new media circles is known as "Six Degrees of Polly Lieberman." Since 2003, she has been in the mobile space at Rip Road, Juice Wireless, and Kikucall. During the boom years, Polly worked at MetLife.com, ClubMom.com and Bolt.com.
Polly has a repertoire of fashion accessories that would put Imelda Marcos to shame and her skills include: mogul skiing, digital bantering, and kicking a 120+ MPH serve out wide.
