Chef-restaurateur Peter Hoffman (Savoy) is behind this East Village seasonal-eats tavern, where farmhouse chic prevails in the decor (vintage tools adorn the walls) and on the menu. The offerings are spotty, but the veggies consistently shine: Baby cauliflower gratin with leeks and Gruyère was explosively flavorful, and we've rarely tasted better brussels sprouts, these were marinated in shallot butter and dotted with dried cherries.
