In Short

Pita Joe has two dicta: serve 'em fast, and serve 'em eco-friendly. The four "pita joes"--schnitzel, grilled chicken breast, falafel, and eggplant--come in freshly made pitas, sliced to order with a box cutter. Another counterperson adds condiments, including tahini and tomatoes, and tops the "chopped green" salads with your choice of hummus, egg, Moroccan beets and other healthy options. The cashier doubles as the drink server, ringing up sodas and specialty lemonade. And still another employee hovers in the dining area, which features stools and fake grass, taking your tray the moment you finish.
