Grown-up martini bar brings personality and an open-door policy to the Roosevelt Hotel.

In Short

A heavy mahogany door separates this refined space from the adjacent hotel lobby area. The intimate, though oddly book-free, environment features a lone plasma screen against dark-grained walls and a single bar buzzing with antsy guests. Tufted leather couches and wooden tables with chrome accents are designer Dodd Mitchell's handiwork, as is the molded exit door to Sycamore's smoking patio. A sanctuary for hotel guests and those turned away from Tropicana Bar, the bar is a welcomed guest-list free zone.
